In the waterproof construction phase, what do we need to pay attention to specifically?

Waterproof construction requires skills, but also need the patience of the master. Among them, painting is the foundation support and an important link of the whole project, and it is also the most test of the decoration master's skill. 1. Do a good job in hydropower infrastructure projects. From a safety point of view, it is better to go above the toilet water pipe and wire than below. However, many road decoration teams are eager to save effort, water and electricity walk on the ground, and even open geotrines in the bathroom and cut round holes. This is extremely unfavorable to waterproof construction.

2. Clean the floor and walls. First of all, knock on the wall and the ground with a small hammer, if you find the crisp and empty sound, it means that there is an empty drum, and you must knock off all the empty drum parts. Then carefully clean the four wall base and the ground, pull out the nails, clean up the dirt garbage, it is best to rinse with water, and then wait for it to dry.

3. Prepare the paint. Generally, it is first to use coarse cement as a base, and then brush waterproof paint after the cement dries. Before painting, the ground must be flat, there can be no holes or grooves. Water is then sprayed on the ground to drain the gas from the hole. It is best to use electric drill when mixing powder and paint, and put it for 5 minutes after mixing. If you mix it by hand, let it sit for 10 minutes. If bubbles appear when painting, brush the bubbles away.

4, brush paint. The first layer should only be brushed in one direction, and then apply the second layer after 1 to 2 hours, at this time the first layer is not completely dry, but the hand will not fall off. In this way, there will be the best combination between the two levels. If the first coat is completely dry before brushing the second coat, sprinkle a small amount of water. When brushing the second layer, the brush should go in the opposite direction to the first layer, or at a 90 degree Angle, to achieve the best coverage.

5. Brush and paint repeatedly. It is not easy to brush the thickness of the wall, and you can brush several times. When brushing, there will be about 1mm of holes, so it is necessary to brush several times to increase the density and fill the gap. Some people think that the more layers of waterproof paint, the better, and even brush six or seven layers, which is not good. Because the paint is too thick, it will crack easily.

6, Water test. To test the waterproof that has just been done, it is necessary to greet the downstairs neighbors first, so as not to affect the normal life of the neighbors. Then plug the floor drain, pour a lot of water on the ground, and after about an hour, ask your downstairs neighbor if there is a leak. If it leaks, re-coat it. After the waterproof layer test is qualified, you can begin to paste the tile.

7. Do good maintenance. One week after the completion of all steps is the maintenance period, the owner needs to pay attention to, more maintenance. Once it is found that there is water leakage, it is necessary to notify the decoration company and do remedial work in time.
